retro vintage factory lamps

New batch of French factory lamps from a warehouse in Rotterdam. These lamps are equipped with a large socket that we are converting to the standard E 27 socket. This larger socket was used for the 400 watt lamps. These are gas discharge lamps. The pressure in these lamps can rise from several tens of bar to more than 100 bar. These lamps are less known to the general public, although they are widely used, mostly in professional applications. For lighting at gas stations, display lighting, lighting in larger stores, sports fields, and high (factory) halls, high-pressure gas discharge in the form of metal halide lamps is often used. These lamps emit almost white light and are increasingly replacing older high-pressure mercury lamps. As these factories are now transitioning to LED lighting, these lamps are coming back on the market. This concerns a very nice quality green enameled lamp shade with an aluminum box above that served to ignite the 400 watt lamp. Particularly original and still in perfect condition. It is a set of 60 lamps, very suitable for cafes, theater halls, restaurants, etc. If you are concerned about the aluminum, you can leave it out, I personally find it very original.
