Colorful mezzotint from 1788, beautifully framed

This colored mezzotint still has the original frame, measuring 39 cm wide and 49 cm high. The print can be dated to 1788 and was painted by Sir Joshua Reynolds. The mezzotint process was invented by the German military professional Ludwig von Siegen (1609-c1680).
