Oak Globe Wernicke library

This antique original oak library has been nearly furnished and delivered to the client's satisfaction. Of course, each of these oak Globe Wernicke bookcases has been individually restored, recoloured, polished and waxed. The cabinet consists of two deep sections standing on a plinth, on top two sections of 37 cm high, then two sections of 31 cm high, finished with three sections of 26.5 cm with the top piece on top. Because the client wanted to keep the original panelling, we placed the cabinet against the panelling, the gaps at the sides were filled with oak strips to create a unified look. The sections above the doors were mounted floating against the back wall by us, creating a beautiful connection from the left stack to the right stack bookcase. We also narrowed two stacks: one bookcase from 86.5 to 60 cm and one bookcase to 45 cm, all from the original Globe Wernicke sections.
