Antique mahogany oval wind out dining table

This is an English wind out table from circa 1850 of excellent quality, both in the use of mahogany wood, namely Cuban mahogany, and the system of beams under the table. The table is now in original condition, meaning that the table itself has faded over the years and the extension leaves still have the original color. The dimensions of this table are depth 135 cm and length in the smallest setting is 160 cm, then the table is without leaves. There are two original leaves that are each 54 cm, so the total length comes to 268 cm, a table where 10 people can eat. The antique table has an elegant leg, not too heavy compared to other tables, and not too ostentatious. Nevertheless, it remains a very solid table without being wobbly, unlike French or Dutch wind out tables. The leg stands on a brass wheel which is better than a porcelain wheel. The height of this table is 74.5 cm, maximum length 268, allowing 10 people to eat at this table.
