Antique English mahogany writing table by W. Priest, Blackfriars, London

Exceptional English antique writing table, extraordinarily fine quality. Made by furniture maker Priest, 17 & 24 Water Street, Blackfriars. The top is finished with a cowhide that has beautifully faded over the years, giving it a fantastic patina. The drawers run very smoothly and are made of the finest quality oak. Dimensions 181.5 cm wide and 106 cm deep. W. Priest specialised in office and library furniture since 1837.
