Practical English bookcase with smoothly sliding doors and adjustable shelves, circa 1880

Very beautiful and practical bookcase made in England, late nineteenth century, in superb and original condition. The cabinet consists of two parts: lower part 93 cm high with two doors that move very smoothly from left to right via a ball mechanism, 50 cm deep. The upper part is 137 cm high and 27 cm deep with height-adjustable bookshelves. Total height 230 cm. Magnificent patina and colour.
