Antique oak Globe Wernicke bookcase

Magnificent original oak stackable bookcase, made by the Globe Wernicke company, circa 1890, in both the UK and the USA. The sections we sell mostly come from the UK. All sections have been restored in our restoration workshop to serve another solid 100 years. The cabinet consists of a plinth with two deep elements of 35 cm deep on top, suitable for binders, art books and other large books, the bottom section has an oak panel. The sections on top of the two deep bottom elements are 29 cm deep. The cabinet is currently 346 cm wide but of course two or one cabinet can also be purchased, height is variable due to the variable elements.
