Rare mahogany shoe bench with an adjustable scissor mechanism

This is a very rare shoe bench from around 1850-1870, using a scissor mechanism, the bench can be set in any desired position. At the moment it is upholstered with brown leather which can be easily replaced with any desired other color, re-leather it and then hand-color it.
