Antique mahogany ship's desk

Very beautiful mahogany ship's desk originating from England, Exeter. It can be dated around 1850-1900 and was made for or on board for a captain or a high-ranking officer. This piece of furniture was taken on journeys and placed at home after the career. The top drawer consists of one piece so that large maps could easily be stored without folding them too much. It still needs to be polished. Dimensions 126 cm wide and 60 cm deep.
