Mennink, where he learned the trade of antique dealer with a strong emphasis on quality, authenticity, and knowledge of materials.

What inspires him most is the exceptional quality of historical furniture: the hand of the maker, the patience of the craft, and the durability of natural materials that have withstood generations. For Dekker, antiques are more than decoration; they are objects with character, history, and soul.

Over the years, he traveled extensively through the United Kingdom, France, and the rest of Europe, always in search of unique pieces that tell a story.
